Landscape design
The walk path next to the Rumah Kayu canteen that connects to several campus facilities has several problems such as poor maintenance, not considering student needs, lack of security and comfort, no lighting, and minimal use of green open space around it. In addition to being less attractive and not maximizing the existing potential, the lack of appropriate Green Open Space for student social activities is also the basis for the design of this park. It is hoped that the design of this park will be a place for students and an identity for the campus.
Named the student reflection park is to meet the needs of students as well as being a place of reflection for students. The walkpath is designed to meander so that users can feel the environment with changing views while walking which is expected to increase students' sensitivity to the environment around them.
The materials used are sustainable materials that support net zero that pay attention to embodied energy such as geoporous asphalt developed by ITB or Eco Paving, Rubber Floor, Reflective Stone, concrete and wood.
Several plants were selected based on their functions and benefits in each category, such as mosquito repellent plants, fragrant plants, beautiful bushes and shrubs, and green grass.
